One-Week Mini-Play Camps

Campers are split into groups by grade and rotate through a series of classes including Acting, Dance, Music, Crafts, and more. In each of their classes they'll learn, rehearse, design, and create components for a 10-15 minute play that will be performed for families on the final day.

Camp programming runs from 9am-3pm and costs $245 per camper per week. Drop-off begins at 8:30am at no additional cost. After Care is available Monday-Thursday until 5:30pm for an additional cost of $50 per camper per week.

Additional Camp details will be shared with registered families shortly before camp begins.

Two-Week Production Camps

At this summer experience, campers have a chance to rehearse and perform a fully staged musical or play with costumes, scenery, and props from our stock. Every actor will have a moment to shine with these shows written specifically for young actors.

Camp programming runs from 9:00am-3:00pm and costs $425 per camper per session. Drop-off begins at 8:30am at no additional cost. After Care is available Monday-Friday until 5:30pm for an additional cost of $100 per camper per camp. There will be no After Care on the final day of camp.

Drive Thru Drop-Off and Pick-Up will be done just like school at our back door on the South side of the building between JC Penney and Target. We’ll send you a Dashpass with your student’s name to stick in your passenger window and a map with the drive-thru directions shortly before camp begins.

WHAT TO WEAR & BRING -Shoes that stay on feet- dancing and theater games are dangerous and difficult in sandals, crocs, and flip-flops. -Dress in layers- it can get chilly in our space -Bring a sack lunch- please do not send items with peanuts or tree nuts. Refrigeration, microwave, and silverware will not be available to compers. -A water bottle with your campers name on it -Toys and tech- if your camper would be crushed if their item is lost or broken, it is best to leave it at home. If items brought to camp become a distraction, campers may be asked to put them away or leave them in the office until the end of the day.

MEDICINE -If your child requires medication during the day, please notify the office. All medicines must be left in the office and not in student's backpacks or lunch boxes.

SPECIAL ALERTS AND REQUESTS -Please identify any social, emotional, or behavioral challenges your camper faces so that our team can plan for a successful experience for all. -TRYPS will make every effort to accommodate students, but unfortunately this is not always possible. -If your camper requires a para in their school classroom, please contact the office before registering to determine if we can accommodate their needs.

NO BULLY ZONE -TRYPS takes the safety and security of all of our students very seriously -Any student who is a danger to themselves or others and/or has behaviors that prevent learning and/or monopolize staff will be considered for removal. -Language, violence, respect for others and teachers, the ability to participate, melt-downs, or running from a classroom are behaviors that impact your child’s safety and the safe environment in the classrooms. -If behavior challenges are frequent and require intervention, we will discuss accommodations for a student to stay successfully with TRYPS.

FINAL PERFORMANCES & VIDEOS -All camps culminate in a final performance on the last day of camp. Performance time and details will be shared with registered families shortly before the start of camp, but you can expect them to take place on the final afternoon. Our theater only seats 60 people, so campers will be limited to how many guests they can invite. -Final performance will be filmed, upload to a private YouTube channel, and shared with grownups via email in the days following camp. You are welcome to share these videos, but we ask that you do so privately for the safety and security of all our young actors.
